A Weekend Trip to Stuttgart! Part 2

Oh, We're Going on the Plane Today?

Due to the nature of a weekend trip, we packed our bags the following Sunday for the airport.

Don't get me wrong, we had a full day ahead of us, just we had to go straight to airport from our final destination *queue the dramatic music*

Activity Numero Uno: Ritter Sport Museum
The Inside is SO much better than the outside
The museum I'd say was a bit disappointing. Not much to do, not much to see.

But the museum is linked straight to a forest which wasn't too shabby with it being fall and all.

And even more pictures *BAAM*

*whisper* Someone's getting too comfortable infront of the camera *whisper*

The plan was basically to spend the rest of the day where the chocolate factory was and that's exactly what we did. Cause plans are meant to followed if Ksenia makes them cause she get's stressed if plans don't work out.

Whilst walking around town, we saw one of those big chess board on the ground. Which we decided to take up on.

Short story shorter, I demolished Ksen in chess mehehehe (Ksen will add her defeated picture here)
...I suck at chess okay? -KK

At around five we headed for the airport and hopped onto the flight back to Heathrow.

To those of you who thought this was the end it wasn't.

It took us another 2.5 hours to get to Ksenia's house and at this exact moment, I realized I'd rather spend some money and take a cab to the airport.
#IdRatherSpendMoneyThanBeOnTheUndergroundfor2hours

A somewhat rushed ending a somewhat rushed holiday.

All in all, it was a tiring and exciting trip that neither Ksenia nor I regret going.

A Weekend Trip to Stuttgart! Part 1

We Can Totally Afford This Right?....Right?

With both of us technically getting a monthly salary (amongst other reasons) , we decided to take a weekend trip to Stuttgart.

As I live a "casual" 2 hour drive away, after finishing work on Friday I drove to Ksen's place our main port of action. We had a pretty chill evening as we had a flight to catch at 7 in the morning.

Next morning with about 4.5 hours of sleep we head out to Heathrow Airport terminal 5 to catch our flight to Stuttgart.
Sleep Deprived and Excited
Once we arrived we were greeted by Ksen's grandma with open arms right at the arrival hall.
We were given mini-kiwis amongst so many other things
Our first stop in Germany.....*drum roll*..... Stadtbibliothek Stuttgart.
It looks a something like this.....
Don't need to read books to realize that's a lot of books

As I don't read German (or English) books, we basically went "Woah, a fancy library.....food?"

And straight to Ksen's favorite Chinese buffet we went~
Anyone who knows us should know, there is no time to take pictures of food.

Dragging our full selves to the city, we headed for the Mercedes-Benz Museum.
Without a doubt there were a lot of stunning cars and they all looked better than blue....

Dis is blue....
But more than that I like to see this place as....how should I put this... where Ksenia starts her modeling career!
So Class, Many Wow
To top this effectively planned day all off, we headed into city centre and ate more food....
And someone got a nose bleed at the restaurant. (I'm not pointing fingers...but it wasn't me)
Appetizer (2 Slices were already gone)
We weren't as hungry apparently...we got an untouched picture
Like the thrill seeking 20-something year olds we are we headed home right after food to look at old pictures in Ksen's family album.

An 18 hour day filled with activities, we got into bed to get ready for the up coming day.
